Laundring - Ching
Trying to catch up on laundry has proven to be beneficial for little Cha - Cha - Change Can. This evening I have contributed a very well washed and dried $3.18 to the good of the fund. Bringing my total to $42.48. I am now closing in on $50.00. Now if I can just manage to stay out of it and not cash it in for my trip this month. It's just a good thing it is $150.00 or Cha-Cha-Change Can would be burgled.

Bonanza - ching
I know you all thought I was going to let little Cha-Cha-Change Can starve to death, but I have been hoarding loot to make a big contribution. After digging through pockets, purses, car seats, laundry, and everywhere a piece of loose change can hide, I am happy to report a deposit today of............$13.44. Brings my total up to $39.30. Slowly but surely I am making some headway, but unless someone helps me contribute, I'll never get to Hawaii this way. Speaking of which...I caught darling husband raiding my little stash of accumulated change that I was preparing for Cha-Cha-change can. Vandal, theif, varlet, knave.....scoundrel!

Week - ching
This week I was able to accumulate $1.75 in loose change. This was found in the bottom of my purse, the floorboard of my car, the bottom of the washer tub and a penny was lurking under the glass cutting board in the kitchen. Silly penny....you can't hide from me. My cha cha change can total now stands at $25.86. I've passed the $25.00 bench mark, can $50.00 be that far away?
The bad thing about finding a lot of change is that it means I've spent money this week, something I am trying very hard to not do, but of course, one can't live in this society without generating some jingle here and there.

Scavenger - ching
After over a week of pulling surreptitious scavenger hunts through dresser drawers, clothes dryers, car seats, coat pockets and under various pieces of furniture I am proud to report a net finding of $2.93! Bringing my Cha Cha Change can's contents to a whopping $24.11. Laugh if you will but I have almost collected a quarter of a hundred dollars! It's all in the way you look at things. And, it is $24.11 that I haven't spent......now that's a real good thing.

Change-ching
After spending a little folding money at the store yesterday and today - I wound up with $1.28 in spare change. Cha Cha Change Can now is the proud owner of $21.18. We aren't growing fast but we are growing steady.

Loose-ching
Picked up $1.18 in loose change just hiding around in various cracks and crevices of the house and car. Oh and some of it came out of Roger's chair - when he leans his recliner back, the change falls out of his pockets and deposits into the chair. Bonanza Time! This brings my total to ..... $19.90 (quick someone send me a dime and I'll have an even $20 ;) )
And just so you'll know how fast change can accumulate, we cashed in all our change at Christmas and Roger took his change jar to the bank last week and had $145.00 that had been piling up in less than 3 months - not bad! I'm not doing so good with mine. Had I have remembered his change jar I probably would have transferred some of his to little Cha Cha Change Can :) then I would have been assured that it wouldn't have gone up in "smoke".

Folded-ching
Today - I found a dollar bill folded up in my desk. I was cleaning out a drawer I had forgotten about and found the bill and enough spare change to contribute $1.89 to cha cha change can. This brings my total to..........$18.72. I am zeroing in on my first $20.00 which is 1/5th of a hundred. All in all, a pretty productive small change weekend!

Little-ching
Well, I've finally been able to scrape enough to make a decent post to the blog and deposit to Cha Cha Change Can. After digging through the washer, the dryer, the car and both purses plus 2 dimes I found on the drive way - I accumulated $5.33.
Look out now! At this rate can a vacation be unfeasible?
Not much to say, other than I believe this is indicative of our whole economy right now. Everyone is starting to pay more attention to what I call little money.
My impressive total to date is..................$16.83 :=)

Trip-ching
Well the chachachange can didn't exactly get fat from my trip to Jacksonville. Largely due to the fact that my aunt would not let me pay for anything. But we did manage to accumulate $2.03 over the course of 3 days which brings my total to...................drum roll please..............$11.50! We have made our first $10.00.

Bling-ching
When I went to pick up my jewelry sales money I had $2.70 in loose change in the bag. Since I don't deposit coin, I have contributed it to the Cha Cha Change can to bring my total to $9.47. Since I will gone for a couple of days, I will be packing the Cha Cha Change can's toothbrush so it can travel with me. There should be loads of opportunities for loose little money on a trip.
Roger-ching
Roger needs to keep a closer eye on his loose change. I found $1.61 cents in his office this morning. I have already warned him that any loose coinage I find is mine, mine, all mine so it has taken up residence in Cha Cha Change can. I'm such a bandit but all's fair, right? Brings my total to: $6.77. Vacation here I come!

Car-ching
I dug through my car today and turned up $3.40! BONANZA TIME! My total in Cha Cha Change can is $5.16. This is really eye opening for me in just how much loose change is lying around that people can ignore but added to a growing little change can will eventually amount to something significant. The one thing I have promised myself is that I will not go around looking down for discarded coins but I won't ignore them if they present themselves. Instead I hope I can go through life looking for those pennies from heaven.

Kit- ching
This morning I found .22 on the kitchen counter. It is close to St. Paddy's day so maybe the leprechauns left it for me. It was all in pennies but I swept it up anyway and now it is safely away in my Cha-Cha-Change Can. This makes my total $1.76. Here's hoping you all have a great day!

Desk-Ching
Today, I found .50 lurking in a desk drawer. I blew the lint off it and deposited it in my Cha-Cha-Change can. At this rate, I'll be heading for Hawaii in about 50 years or so. I will totally rock a grass skirt by then. Do they make one that fits around an entire wheel chair? Maybe I'll find enough coin to afford a gigolo to push me around the sand. Of course I have to be careful that my "boy toy" doesn't drown me in the ocean and take all my money. Here's a pic of my earnings today.

A new beginning
Recently Kaylee found a little blog called "Change Pot". This is basically someone who keeps a tally of all the change they find. I've always been a huge collector of change so I thought I would rob this idea and just do it for myself for grins. I'm calling mine Cha-Cha Change a play on words after the song by the GREAT Aretha Franklin "Chain of Fools."So I'm starting today with $1.04 cents that I found picking up in the house. I'm choosing a tropical theme for my new Blog just in case I find enough money to take a splendiferous vacation! Cha-Ching
