Laundring - Ching
Trying to catch up on laundry has proven to be beneficial for little Cha - Cha - Change Can. This evening I have contributed a very well washed and dried $3.18 to the good of the fund. Bringing my total to $42.48. I am now closing in on $50.00. Now if I can just manage to stay out of it and not cash it in for my trip this month. It's just a good thing it is $150.00 or Cha-Cha-Change Can would be burgled.

Bonanza - ching
I know you all thought I was going to let little Cha-Cha-Change Can starve to death, but I have been hoarding loot to make a big contribution. After digging through pockets, purses, car seats, laundry, and everywhere a piece of loose change can hide, I am happy to report a deposit today of............$13.44. Brings my total up to $39.30. Slowly but surely I am making some headway, but unless someone helps me contribute, I'll never get to Hawaii this way. Speaking of which...I caught darling husband raiding my little stash of accumulated change that I was preparing for Cha-Cha-change can. Vandal, theif, varlet, knave.....scoundrel!

Week - ching
This week I was able to accumulate $1.75 in loose change. This was found in the bottom of my purse, the floorboard of my car, the bottom of the washer tub and a penny was lurking under the glass cutting board in the kitchen. Silly penny....you can't hide from me. My cha cha change can total now stands at $25.86. I've passed the $25.00 bench mark, can $50.00 be that far away?
The bad thing about finding a lot of change is that it means I've spent money this week, something I am trying very hard to not do, but of course, one can't live in this society without generating some jingle here and there.

Scavenger - ching
After over a week of pulling surreptitious scavenger hunts through dresser drawers, clothes dryers, car seats, coat pockets and under various pieces of furniture I am proud to report a net finding of $2.93! Bringing my Cha Cha Change can's contents to a whopping $24.11. Laugh if you will but I have almost collected a quarter of a hundred dollars! It's all in the way you look at things. And, it is $24.11 that I haven't spent......now that's a real good thing.

Change-ching
After spending a little folding money at the store yesterday and today - I wound up with $1.28 in spare change. Cha Cha Change Can now is the proud owner of $21.18. We aren't growing fast but we are growing steady.

Loose-ching
Picked up $1.18 in loose change just hiding around in various cracks and crevices of the house and car. Oh and some of it came out of Roger's chair - when he leans his recliner back, the change falls out of his pockets and deposits into the chair. Bonanza Time! This brings my total to ..... $19.90 (quick someone send me a dime and I'll have an even $20 ;) )
And just so you'll know how fast change can accumulate, we cashed in all our change at Christmas and Roger took his change jar to the bank last week and had $145.00 that had been piling up in less than 3 months - not bad! I'm not doing so good with mine. Had I have remembered his change jar I probably would have transferred some of his to little Cha Cha Change Can :) then I would have been assured that it wouldn't have gone up in "smoke".

Folded-ching
Today - I found a dollar bill folded up in my desk. I was cleaning out a drawer I had forgotten about and found the bill and enough spare change to contribute $1.89 to cha cha change can. This brings my total to..........$18.72. I am zeroing in on my first $20.00 which is 1/5th of a hundred. All in all, a pretty productive small change weekend!
